Welcome from our Senior Minister

You're reading this because you're probably new to the site and want to check out this church you've heard about -- do a little advance investigation before showing up in person. I’d do the same thing myself if I were you! I’d want to make sure that when I show up, I know what to expect. What will happen to me and especially my kids.

So let me put you at ease by telling you that we’re a church for people like you. People who are seeking to reconnect with God or rediscover the faith of their past. You don't have to know a lot of about Christianity or the Bible in order to feel at home here. We believe that people matter, period. Our doors and hearts are open to people from all faith backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.

We're about helping you move from religion to relationship. To help you discover new life together through hope in Jesus. Doesn’t really matter to us why you stopped going to church, or why you are not practicing any more. We celebrate that you are considering a step back toward God again. We are not a Catholic church, but are not really a Protestant church either (we are not protesting anything!). We are simply Christians. And we believe we are not the only Christians, just Christians only.

We're striving to be the kind of church described in the New Testament -- with relevant, biblical teaching, authentic worship, real community, a place to serve those in need, heartfelt prayer, and connection with God. Now let me quickly add that we don't pretend to have it all together yet. We're just regular people in the process of discovering God's purposes for our lives and learning to live a life like Jesus talked about. We’re a perfect church for imperfect people. Whether you're spiritually searching, doubting, hurting, or stretching, come as you are and find hope and a home here.

If you are looking for a place that’s more about grace than guilt, where weekend services are a “get to” thing, not a “got to” (obligation) thing, where you can learn the Bible with application, a place of acceptance if you’ve been through a divorce, a place that will take good care of your children where they will be safe (we do background checks on all workers), a place where God can become real to you after your confirmation…then Whitewater Crossing is for you!

If you dropped out of your previous church because of marriage issues or you weren’t being fed, if you drifted away or had a quarrel with a staff member, if you felt excluded, had a lot of guilt because of an abortion, or you heard church teaching that didn’t quite square with the Bible...

Then Whitewater Crossing is for you!
