Whitewater Crossing Christian Church (WCCC) is a non-denominational church in the historical tradition of the Restoration Movement. WCCC has a local group of elders who provide direction and oversight for the church. We have no hierarchy or any other religious body that influences what happens at WCCC. Our goal is to live as Christians following the teaching of Christ found in the Bible. Our church congregation is a very active, multi-generational group of people who have a growing love for the Lord and for others. For more information, please see What Kind of Church Is This?
Is there a dress code?
At WCCC, you'll see as much variety in dress as you see in people. Some folks wear T-shirts and jeans. Others wear the more traditional Sunday attire. We don't judge by appearances because we know that God is interested in what's on the inside.
Once I arrive, where should I go first or when I have questions?
First Impressions Team members are located just inside both the Main Entrance and the Cafe Entrance. WCCC members serving in these areas, as well as at the Ministry Center, will answer your questions and help you and your children know where to go.
Is children's programming provided?
Yes, loving and safe children's programming is provided at WCCC. Our kids ministry is the ideal spot for infants through fourth graders. Children's classes at WCCC are high energy, interactive, and age-appropriate. For more information, please see Children's Ministry.
Will my child be safe?
We know that as a parent you need to be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment. And we know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn. We’ve invested a lot to make sure that both of these goals are reached. You’ll see that in the environments the children meet in, and even more in the volunteers who work with your kids. WCCC has a sophisticated children’s check-in system to ensure your child’s safety and well being – and your peace of mind. In addition to a very secure method for tracking and registering your child, each of our ministry volunteers has had a criminal background check done on them. Upon your arrival, a member of our First Impressions Team can assist you to check in your child and help you and your children know where to go.
What about my teenager?
5th through 12th grade students enjoy classes, activities and special events that are high energy and interactive. The discussions and teaching - led by caring and positive adult role models - help students deal with the many pressures they face and guide them toward healthy choices. For more information, check out Student Ministry.

How do I become a member?
The only requirements for membership at WCCC are that you have a personal relationship with Jesus, and that you have celebrated that relationship by means of baptism by immersion. At WCCC, membership involves more than simply getting your name on a list. We ask that all members participate in spiritual growth opportunities beyond weekend services, regularly serve in a ministry, and financially support the Lord’s work at WCCC. For more information, please contact the church office (513.661.5811). Also see Church Membership.

What is baptism and how is it conducted during worship services?
Baptism is simply God's way of allowing us to show that we believe in what Jesus did for us on the cross and that we're trusting in Him alone to save us from the penalty of our sins. Baptism by immersion illustrates Christ's burial and resurrection, and it identifies us a having received a new life. Each weekend worship service at WCCC is concluded with an invitation to become a Christ-follower. If you come forward during this time, a pastor will introduce you to a decision counselor who will talk to you about your decision (to become a Christ-follower and/or be baptized). If you are ready, we can make immediate arrangements for your baptism. The water is warm and robes, towels, and changing rooms are always ready. Or, if you prefer, you can set a future date to be immersed. We can arrange both public and private baptism. For more information, please see Baptism.

What is Communion and how is it viewed at WCCC?
Communion is the memorial Jesus gave to remind us of the price He paid - He gave His life - for our sins. While there is no mandate in Scripture for how often to take communion, we believe that the early church practiced taking communion or breaking bread each week (Acts 20:7). Therefore, when there is no scriptural command, we believe the next best thing is to practice what the early church practiced. Lord's Supper is another term used for communion. Anyone who is a follower of Christ is invited to participate. For more information, please see Lord's Supper.
What happens during offering time in worship services?
As Christians, we give an offering out of love to support God's work through WCCC. Guests should not feel obligated to give. Instead of wanting you to give something, we want you to get something! For more information, please see Funding & Tithing.

What are the musical styles of WCCC worship services?
We come together every week to sing and laugh and learn and serve in a way that we hope honors God. Each worship service includes heartfelt music that will draw you close to God. The best way to describe our worship music is eclectic. Our services are led by a team of artists who are also nationally renowned Contemporary Christian singer/songwriters. Each one brings something a little different to the mix. Along the way, there may be guitar solos, worship choirs, drama, spoken word, silence, media, and an occasional special effects or two! But on any given weekend, whatever happens on-stage, we hope that from where you sit, you encounter the Most High God.
What does the future look like for Whitewater?
Whitewater Crossing has developed 5 strategic Visionary Goals that will direct us for the next 3-5 years. Click for more information on those goals.
